4 years later....

Well.....

• I'm still here..
• I'm still in Wiltshire
• in the same job
• in the same house

but with a few subtle differences..

We are now a family of three Humans.. two Cats..one Gerbil

AND Ruby the working cocker spaniel..

We picked her up May 2014 and have not looked back since.

She is awesome..

we also have a new addition by way of..Brian!

He is our new (but old) Motorhome! The best way to go on Holiday when you have a 4 legged friend..

One day.. we will own a lovely modern version of Brian..but you know what.. he is all that we need right now, and we LOVE  going away for a few days.

So! here iam. Still a Chocolatier working at Lick the Spoon..

other than the boss..im now the only chocolatier..!

Im sure that i will find something inspiring to blog about..other than the dog and the cats and the Gerbil.. but..

I really am still here!

Frome is a good place to wander around the 'I saw you coming' shops

for people with more money than sense we always say..

But

We like it there

The Autumn colours are shining through at the moment

some stunning scenery around Wiltshire

Bath was just Lovely..

Shame about the amount of people who we had to share it with!!

But there were places where it wasnt SO busy

Better late than never

Lifes been full to the Brim ~ and i have been taken on full time at Lick the Spoon..
Consequently ive become lazy at blogging
BUT

Ive been trawling through some old friends bloggs and realised its a great way to remember whats been going on in peoples lives.. and when i look back on my Brunei Bloggs, im so very pleased that i did them

so...maybe now i really should start this old dinosaur up, and get it running again..

who knows.

there might even be someone out there~ somewhere who reads it!

ive been away from Blogging for a while

i aim to try and catch up with it again soon

ive been away on holiday to Barbados..

what a wonderful time away that was... and OH so many photos..

Nelson & delilah have become 'friends'..she has been with us since december, and it feels like she has never not been a part of our family..

im learning more and more each day at \Lick the Spoon, learning to be a chocoaltier..and i love it!

and ive learnt to write in Chocklit too...
filigree lessons are next!

Spring has sort of sprung here in the UK..
Thats only if you are able to ignore the snow we have had recently *well they are snowdrops!
and the bitterly cold frosty mornings!

Im sure that spring really n truly is just around the corner..

just been ridiculously busy at work before christmas, and havent felt that good after!

so off work today, after having to leave early on Friday! goodness i felt poorly...

hoping its just a few day bug... think im ok, then realise im not and just want to sleep..

im not a poorly person , and dont like being ill..

Steves writing a snotty e mail to our X agents as they still owe us money for the deposit from the house in Ivybridge!
they are..how can i say it..Lax , and very slow...
always passing us from one person to another and never calling back when they say!

im glad we have the place rented privately now..lots less hasstle.. and far more reliable..

Hindsight is an awesome thing.. we should have sold the house in 05 and had done with it.. but...

oh well...

anyway.. 2012 it well under way.. lets just hope it will be a good year for us all..

November Rain

Lives up to its title..
Seemingly November is the month of rain ..

its usually wet overnight, dry ish through the morning, then the rain comes in and stays in through the late afternoon early evening!

Oh well..

at least its not snow

My last post was Alexs interview day

today was his medical and fitness..

sadly, Alex has issues with lactose and is lactose intolerant.

this was enough for the RAF to decline Alexs application..

he is devastated..

all his hopes and dreams gone in an instant..

all because he cant cope with milk!

good to know that all the front line boys arent lactose intolerant..

were devastated for him too..

their loss..

Alex's RAF interview day~ Bristol

Alex has his final interview for the RAF in Bristol..so Steve helps him master the art of cufflinks and TIES!!!

PROUD Mum... made me want to squish him.. well~ he is MY boy!

Chesneys 21$t Birthday!

This is OUR gorgeous God daughter Chesney!

She is part of a very special family that we hold close to our hearts..

Chesney had a mat hatters tea party to celebrate her 21st...

Chocklit

These little babies are sea salt  caramel chocoroons...

and I made them!

What an awesome day ..i got to learn quite alot about chocolate making today

I dare say i wont remember any of it!

but i really enjoyed the challenge of the Chocoroons!

 BlackJack Street Party

 A celebration of the re opening of Blackjack street in Cirencester , where LICK the SPOON  have their shop...

We have had a few Visitors from Brunei too over the last few weeks...

Firstly Karen and Catherine...

They bought great weather with them...

Then Ros(alind) Mark and their Kids came to stay with us for a night too

sadly Jet lag got the better of Ros!
such a shame as we hadnt seen each other for Over a year!!

NOW!!

The house in Devon... rented out for 4 years..
sadly~we had to give the tenant notice, as we could see the house was becoming unloved..and she had let it go..well actually by the time we found out.. it was GONE!

She left both house & Garden in an awful state

The Kitchen had to be de greased...
it was caked in a layer of grease from top to bottom!

We went to the Barbican in Plymouth.. as i love it there

The sun shone, and we ate fish & Chips outside a cafe!

Plymouth is just lovely... i could move back there quite easily.. sadly theres no jobs for Steve there!

Thats it for now.. Weddings and Birthday celebrations next time..
